I received my IAP posting. I'm posted to: Stiefel Laboratories Pte Ltd. That's located in Gul Circle, an ulu place in the unknown mists of Jurong. Worst thing is.. I've to reach office by 7.45 everyday! But plus side is, I end at 5.30 and it's a 5 day work week! Then again, the travelling time would take ages. Hopefully there'll be company transport.

Lucky Sandy told me about it and I immediately ran down to check my mailbox. She's a lucky chap. She got posted to Biopolis and her LO is Dr Eddie Ong! I'm like damn jealous la. At least her LO is good. I got Dr Chai. A bit of a disappointment with the place and the LO but still, I'm looking forward for IAP!

Attachment starts immediately after exams and lasts right till the first week of december. Briefing on 3rd August! Can't wait. Ran a brief search of the company through the internet and it's dealing with cosmetics/dermatologist products. Hope it'll be fun.

Dang. Things keep going missing in my bag. First, it was my favourite bookmark. I was very sure I kiap the bookmark in between the cover and the front page. Only to find it missing the night after. And now, I lost the divider used to mark the week I'm in for my planner. And I'm sure I placed the divider back in after I took it out.

And just how much more boring life can be? Just when I thought I cleared most presentations, I've another report to do. All in all, I've 4 reports to do and 4 tests to study for. Not inclusive of exams. Suddenly, I sort of regret choosing my attachment place (though it's not confirmed yet) because the travelling time during peak hour will kill and it's at Science Park. Not exactly the most convenient place of travel from my house.

My stiff neck is killing me. Getting worst by the minute. Damn it man. I need a break! I want my vacations!

Yeap. Here are the pictures that Nicole, Carl, Serene and Me took during our lunch outing. Though we're all in the same school, we just seldom bump into each other.

I just finished reading 2 wonderful books. False Impression by Jefferey Archer and Seven Ancient Wonders by Matthew Reilly. Both offered the style of writing and kind of contents that I look for.

Friday the 13th was a rather good day actually. Apart from the fact that I was late for class. I was half an hour late. I waited for half an hour and there wasn't a bloody cab. In the end, I had to take a train down. Bus would have been the cheaper alternative and the more enjoyable one but I don't have much choice as it was 10. And lesson has already started.

All in all, the day ended well. Got something, discovered something, exchanged something, played pool, enjoyed a concert. And yes, I'm proud of my sis. =D

I did catch Harry Potter. And sad to say, I'm very very very very very very very very much dissapointed. The plot didn't follow the book. Order of the scenes was kind of like all over the place. Storyline was even shown wrongly. The only thing I managed to enjoy was the special effects used for magical scene. At least that was once step closer to my imagination..

Was chatting with Sean and a random thought occured...
Must everything in life be paired up with something of the opposite: Left vs Right, Up vs Down, Inside vs Outside?
Is it not possible for Left vs Left/Right vs Right, Up vs Up/Down vs Down, Inside vs Inside/Outside vs Outside?

No doubt it is the norm.. But.. Minorities exist..

I met up my a few of my secondary school classmates for dinner last night because Louis was back in Singapore, from California. Planned outings, we can never get a full crowd. Adhoc ones, we get everyone. Contradictory eh. It was really great to see everyone after such a long time. Not much physical changes but in terms of dressing, Karen changed the most. She was wearing heels! That totally shocked me and everyone else.

We were chatting on and on about the past events that happened, classmates in our years, who sat where in the class, etc. All the funny stories, forgotten gossips were all brought up again. I really did enjoy myself. Hopefully, it'll be in California the next time we meet.

There are always 2 sides to a coin. Just like in any situation. But in this case, maybe more. I'm not sure. The process has begun, once again. Perhaps I should just be selfish to myself, once again. And in that process, protect myself.

Pressed for time to rush projects, assignments and reports. So much to do, so little time. Noel said I looked more cheery and less stressed now. It's probably due to the concert being over. And now, although it's over, I've just that 1/8 more to go. And that is to settle I&E. Money is the root of all evil. No money, no talk. =/

Finally, the big big burden off my back. Pops and Classics was a huge huge huge huge huge huge huge success. I'm damn happy la. Words were inexplainable when I heard that tickets were all sold out. And that we were just selling off more. The support given was great. Most importantly, the kiddos enjoyed themselves. And that, has definitely fulfilled the objectives. It's beyond words to hear that they say they have improved and that they really would love to come back or that they'll really miss this whole thing. But as they say, all good things must come to an end.

Well, I must thank:

1. The PnC comm

2. The Main comm

3. The Logistics comm

4. Outreach participants

5. NP band

6. NP

7. Support from everyone who came down for the concert.

And now, for pictures. =)

Larissa from BVSS. Sometimes I get tongued tied and calls her Charissa instead.
Wei Kit. The boy who asked if he could join but not perform. But well, heh.

Nazri! Fellow enthusiastic member. =))

CHARISSA!!! This is Nick puny's sister. Cute girl. Dresses maturely. But ultra high pitched voice. Kinda lovable girl la. Once you get used to it, that is.

Marvin passed me a link to take a colour test that asks me to choose 8 colour cubes, in order of which they most sooth you. And this test has some relation to NLP(Neural Linguistics Programming) which is rather related to the IS module, MQE (Mind Quest for Excellence), that I'm doing now. MQE also uses NLP. Anyway, here's the generated results. Of which I must say, it is more or less true.

You are seeking an affectionate relationship, offering fulfilment and happiness. You are capable of powerful emotional enthusiasm. Deep down, you are a kind loving person, always helpful and willing to adapt yourself if necessary to realise the bond of affection that you desire. But you need the same consideration and understanding from others and it is this need that will sometimes hold you back... so let go, trust and you may pleasantly surprised at what happens.

You are working extremely hard - perhaps even above and beyond the call of duty. You are preparing for the future and therefore trying to build a firm trouble-free foundation upon which you may base all of your dreams and aspirations.

You have a high opinion of yourself. It is perhaps because of this self-centredness that you become exasperated when you feel that your needs are misinterpreted by those around you. When this happens - and it does quite often - you feel that there is no-one that can understand the way you feel and it is because of this egocentric self that you are quick to take offence.

You are being unduly influenced by the situation that is all around you. You do not like the feeling of loneliness and whatever it is that seems to separate you from others. You know that life can be wonderful and you are anxious to experience life in all its aspects, to live it to the full. You therefore resent any restriction or limitations that are being imposed on you and you insist on going it alone.

You wish to be left in peace... no more conflict and no more differences of opinion. In fact you just don't want to be involved in arguments of any shape or form. All you want is for 'them' to get on with it - and to leave you alone.

On the side note, Pops and Classics is over. I'm overjoyed. Feel that a big burden have been lifted off my shoulders. Would update with text and pictures in due time. But for now, A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED MADE THE EVENT A GREAT SUCCESS!
